Ryo

Oh, of course! How can I forget about money! As you know, money is obviously the most important thing when it comes to being an RPG. The currency of the Naruto RPG Forum will be the Ryo. Ryo can be used to buy many things, and you’re going to have to be specific about it. When it comes to improving your sword, you’re going to need money for it to be improved. If you want to buy a whole loads of food, that’s where Ryo are kicked in. If you do want to construct a house yourself, then, Ryo obviously comes in. Everything in life has to do with money in the RPG. Ryo can be awarded during SLs if the character has undergone some money issues. You’re able to achieve money through looting, bounty hunting, stealing money, through a job, etc.
If we were to change this currency into American money, I would say that this is a rough estimation. 10 Ryo = $1

NPC

Now, you’re all wondering. What are NPC? NPCs are termed as Non-Player Characters. Now what would that mean? The Non-Player Characters are characters that you aren’t using, but, they fit into the background. Such examples can be a crowd of people, or citizens, managers, etc. All those type of people. Even NPC can be made into characters that you can use to stick with you. You’re able to use NPC at any times...Non-Player characters play the role of, well, anyhow you want them to play the role. It’s all under your control pretty much. NPCs don’t take in any rewards at all. Once you’re done with the thread, the NPC should be gone. NPC can also be used to create temporary enemies.

Now, if you want to create a NPC character in which it tags along with you (i.e. animals, relatives, daughters/sons), then, you are able to create a NPC character just like it’s based off the original character template. These NPC characters are limited in rewards, and start off more slowly than the original characters. With these NPC characters, you’re able to control your NPC anything you want.

Hiden Abilities

Hiden abilities, as you should know, are clan-made and secret abilities that only reside within the clan. They are special jutsus in which the clans try to keep secret of. This is different from Kekkei Genkai in which they are bloodline limits, so in that case, the techniques for the jutsus are inherited in you. Hiden jutsus can include the Shadow Possession Jutsu, Mind Desctructive Jutsu, or Kiba’s abilities. They are all clans in which they don’t include jutsus that are inherited in them.

Hiden abilities can only be used if you are born into the clan, or discovered by them. If that’s the case, then, if you want a Hiden ability, then you have to have the Hiden Trait right away when you start to create your character. Now, because you are born onto the Hiden Trait, you’re randomly assigned to Hiden abilities...just kidding, all Hiden Traits do have the same power into jutsus, so, there really is no point into random. But, if you do want a Hiden ability, but you don’t know which one to pick, there’s no need to fear, we enable the random Hiden ability feature so that the mods can randomly pick it for you from their magical list of Hidens. Note that this is random because it is by dice rolls, once a random Hiden ability has been picked for you, it stays permanent. Even if it doesn’t fit your character, it stays permanent. If you want to avoid that risk, then it’s best to pick the selective Hiden abilities. To pick random hiden ability, you MUST choose the Random Hiden Selection (3 Traits).

Fortunately, there are so MANY Hiden, that you can pick them yourself from the canon world. OR, you can even create your own custom-made Hiden trait and you’re able to create your own clan as a result. Maybe if you’re custom-made Hiden trait is good enough, it could luckily go into our magical list of Hiden Abilities for a random roll! The point of this selective choosing is so that you can choose a Hiden ability to fit your character. Now, take note of this, as you are creating your Hiden abilities, it must not be blood inherited, but only jutsu-related. If your Hiden ability uses something that involves the use of effecting your body without the any use of jutsu, then, that’s officially a Kekkei Genkai. When you have created your selective Hiden trait, the mods will look over it and see if it’s official or not. If you want to select/make your own Hiden ability, you MUST choose the Selective Hiden Ability (3 Traits).

Kekkei Genkais

Kekkei Genkais, are by far, the most and best use of techniques in the Naruto World. They are bloodline limits in which you are able to make the most of best things into your own use. They are created by specific clans that use these special abilities. Kekkei Genkais are able to affect your eyes, fighting skills, predicting movements, power, etc. BUT, because Kekkei Genkais are immediately effected to you when you’re born. So, being different from Hiden, you are inherited of the ability right away when you start your character. Because of this, all Kekkei Genkais that you choose for are ALL random. No selective choosing unfortunately. But, if you get the Kekkei Genkai you want, then, you have much more advantages than choosing Hiden abilities. Oh, side note. You’ve noticed that a lot of the Kekkei Genkais are extinct, well, [s]if that’s the case, then we can’t use them. Sorry![/s] What am I blabbering about!? Extinct Kekkei Genkais are usable in this forum!

When you want a Kekkei Genkai for your character, you have to grab it immediately when you create your character. Kekkei Genkais can only be grabbed in the beginning, just like Hiden. But, when picking a Kekkei Genkai, it’s all random, while the Hiden can have some exceptions to them. Take note of this, Kekkei Genkais are much more powerful than Hiden abilities. Because it’s all random, the users must accept any random Kekkei Genkais that are given to them, no whining or any other spontaneous effects. Ranging from the strongest to the weakest, the weaker Kekkei Genkais are more probable to get than the stronger ones. Mods decide all this by couple of dice rolls, and your Kekkei Genkai is decided on their final roll (no, I won’t give out information on how it’s done). So, you had better hope that you’ll be lucky to get the Kekkei Genkai that you have dreamed of getting. In order to choose the Kekkei Genkai option, you must choose the Kekkei Genkai (3 Traits) trait. Side note, there are also custom-made Kekkei Genkais in the magical list that were submitted by other players. If you were to get one of these custom-made, a full description of the Kekkei Genkai will be explained to you.

Another side-note, when you have reached upon a level of your Kekkei Genkai in which you have fully mastered it, you’re able to take the Kekkei Genkai Unleash (1 Trait). This is pretty much unlocks the full power of your Kekkei Genkai, and broaden its potential to the fullest. Let’s take an example, the Sharingan. When you take this Kekkei Genkai Unleash trait, you’re Sharingan is able to reach into a full-tomoe evolution and is also able to unlock Mangekyou Sharingan (remember, Mangekyou must involve killing the closest person to you). Now, before you are able to take this Kekkei Genkai Unleash trait, on the descriptions of the Kekkei Genkai that you have gotten, there will be an area in which the Kekkei Genkai Unleash trait is needed. And so, you’re to follow every instruction and read clearly on every detail that it says. I hope that this covers Kekkei Genkai.
